Dear Evan and Clovis, After a brief analysis of Kobold's abilities I have come to the following conclusion: we have to institute two more army divisions. After the River watch (mainly a human elite fighting force) and the Dragon guard (mainly a Kobold elite fighting force), we need:
The DRAGON SCOUTS: a mainly Kobold-led unit, very skilled in scouting and reporting. Kobolds are not strong and resilient but are very fast and dexterous. Moreover, they are blessed with different colours of scales - allowing easier concealement and stealth - and powerful darkvision - they can be active 24/7. This makes the creation of a well trained Dragon Scouts unit vital.
The DRAGON WATCH: Kobolds are perfect (see above) to guard our city during night-time. Darkvision allows them to spot enemies and intrudes far better than human gard would. We can employ them on our walls and our outposts to guard every inch of our territory at night as well, better than humans would.
Therefore, I hereby ask the Council and our beloved King to allow the creation of these two elite forces, mainly made up by Kobolds, but open to anyone and ready to receive know-how and means. Hail to the DRAGON SCOUTS and the DRAGON WATCH!!!
